ABOUT ME
From the age of four to thirteen, I attended private art lessons in Mrs. Meade’s Art
Studio. Mrs. Meade provided individualized guidance that allowed me to work with lead pencil,
color pencils, pastel, and watercolor. At Flint Hill High School, I was blessed to study under a
teacher, who strengthened my ability to draw and paint. During my sophomore year, I studied at
The Putney Summer Arts Program where I worked mostly with acrylics, which was a new
experience for me. At Putney, I also enrolled in filmmaking classes that gave me a new
appreciation for movies and allowed me to explore my paintings through different angles, as if I were to
use a movie camera.
I am fortunate enough to continue the education that I received from Mrs. Meade, Flint Hill High School,
and the Putney School while at NYU. Attending the BFA Program has allowed me to combine both a
rigorous and distinctive studio art practice with a comprehensive liberal arts education.
Determined Artists
MY MISSION
As a young artist currently studying at New York University, my hope is to spread my art and make a name for myself. Much of my art deals with the human figure and is autobiographical. It is my hope that you will be able to connect with some of my pieces.
